This style outlier was shot at one of the art and craft festivals towards the end of summer. Loved the vintage cat-eye glasses and the cropped cable-knit sweater paired with a bright skirt/dress. You see some unique street styles at these type of fests so I have more reasons to attend these fairs besides looking at the art and shopping. To hunt the style outliers, I would usually alternate between walking around and sitting somewhere and watching people (and hopefully not looking too creepy!).

I ran into this style outlier in Wicker Park. I love her simple cropped plaid top and high-waisted comfy pants. We had a small chat and she mentioned she’ll be heading to Switzerland soon. I hope you are enjoying there!

While walking back from work yesterday, I thought I will walk around a bit and hunt for some style outliers, get some inspiration but the weather decided not to cooperate. It was quite chilly and it kept drizzling every now and then. I know its going to get 30+ degrees colder but yesterday was one of the first days that made me miss warm sunny days – like the day I took this picture.  It was shot a few weeks back when the weather was perfect and we had gone strolling in the Lincoln Park Zoo. I could not bring back any of the cute animals from there (I really wanted the red panda), so my present from the zoo was Feb…so nice to snuggle : )
